Hey guys! How are you? I’m super good! I arrived home and the cleaning lady had done my room! Wow. Thanks. Look at my bed. It’s done. She did my bed. I’m so happy going to bed in a nice looking bed. Feels so much better.. The pictures are from my sketchbook. Working with colour, shapes and structures. My inspirations are desire and diamonds. I’m building a collection at my evening course at Central St. Martins. I feel the creative part of my brain working, and I get so much inspiration for my paintings. I’m going to start working on my art soon again. When spring comes and I can be in our back yard and paint in the sun!

Yesterday @ Central st. Martins. We got 1 meter of fabric. And the challenge was to create a part of something interesting that can inspire us in our collection. I did a diamond design. The funny thing was that the guy that I did my design on had a diamond tattoo..

Det var en kul del av min kvällskurs på Central St. Martins igår. Vi fick drapera tyg på en annan av deltagarna i gruppen. Jag draperade på en fransk kille. Jag ville få fram strukturen av en diamant.Sedan när vi skulle ta bilder på vårt skapande så hade han en diamant tatuering. Mycket passande.

I’m at work. Always busy. No time to breath. Or today I had one hour to breath. During lunch with one of my best girl friend. Sometime you just need to take a break and meet a good friend to forget about the busy work. I’m going to give you more details about the place we had lunch later, it was so good! In 30 min. I have to leave work for my evening course at Central St. Martins. Today we are all in the class bringing our inspiration sketch books. I guess that we today will use them for inspiration to the collections we will sketch for our fashion portfolio. Looking forward to that. Just relax. Not think of anything else in the universe than just create and get inspired. Or i hope that it is what we will do. I need to free my mind.

Igår på min kvällskurs på Central St. Martins så fick vi måla av en gravid kvinna. Och vi skulle inte måla av  direkt. Utan vi skulle ta fram en bild genom att lägga till skuggor och sudda ut ljusa områden. Jag har aldrig målat kroki och aldrig använt mig av den tekniken. Men wow. Det var kul att se att man kunde få fram en bild genom ljus och mörker. Det var A och O. Dock sa vår lärare att en sådan här bil brukar först bli färdig efter många timmars arbete. Ibland en hel dag. Vi hade 1 och en halv.

De första fem minuterna fick vi måla små sekundritningar av kvinnan. Uppvärmning.

Lesson one at the Central st. Martins course. See things with new eyes. Create shapes and lines. What do you think this thing look like? To me it’s a little man. To my ant it’s a wedding dress. What do you think? I met a lovely Swedish girl there, she had studied fashion before. It’s so fun to meet people with the same interests. There where people from all over Europe such as Poland, Italy, Greece, France, Norway and China. I hope I will get to know them all during this 3 month course!

Homework: Create your own inspiration board on a specific subject. With pictures, colours and words. And then at class in 2 weeks we will develop our own fashion collection in drawings. I’ll keep you updated
